NatureAI is a natural history film set in the Arctic written, designed, and voiced by AI. NatureAI is the new nature. Real, fake nature… What is nature anyway? AI has infiltrated every nook and cranny of our lives. We’re living in science fiction. But, nature is nature. And natural history filmmaking has always been about the real. Until now. Our goal was to showcase the power, creativity, and (current) limitations of AI. With natural history, we took a contradictory film genre and had AI create its own script. We sent our prompts into ChatGPT and had its image-making counterpart Dall-E 2 visually interpret what it was saying. We then used ElevenLabs’ voice software to narrate. The result? A new Frozen Planet is born. We’ll let you decide which one is better.
