The North Water, or Pikialasorsuaq, is one of the most productive ocean ecosystems on the planet and has been a vital resource for indigenous communities for millennia. People of the Ice Bridge follows a scientist and local hunters from Qaanaaq. While the scientist and her team set out to investigate how ocean conditions are changing in the high arctic, the local hunters share their perspectives on the past and future of this unique ecosystem under climate change.
